We know that finding the perfect holiday can take a lot of time, from selecting the perfect villa to making your travel arrangements. Whilst we at James no longer provide package holidays with flights, we’re able to point you in the direction of our trusted partner, Kiwi.com, who can help you search for your perfect deal, including flight times, departure and destination airport. When you book with Kiwi.com, they will look after all your flight arrangements, from making the booking with the airline, to providing you with your check-in information. Any booking made via Kiwi.com will be subject to their own booking Terms & Conditions.

Booking Additional Travel Services
To help make your holiday planning as easy as possible, we have various travel partners who offer optional extras such as flights, car hire or transfers. We may direct you to their websites from time to time, so you can find suitable extras for your villa holiday.
However, unless you purchase the service directly through us, any service that you may choose to book or pay for with these partners are not provided by us and do not form a package holiday under the Package and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. We are not responsible for the provision of the service or for anything that happens during the course of its provision by the partner. Your contract for these services will be with the provider and will be subject to their terms and conditions.
When you make a booking with us, we may also send you a link which will take you through to our partners to book flights and car hire for example. If you decide to use this link, and make a booking within 24 hours of receiving your booking confirmation, those travel services will become part of a Linked Travel Arrangement. In that case, as required by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, we have protection in place to refund your payments to James Villa Holidays Limited for services not fully performed because of our insolvency. Please note that this does not provide a refund in the event of the insolvency of the relevant service provider.
Bookings that become a Linked Travel Arrangement are not ATOL protected.

What should I expect when hiring a car?
If you’re hiring a car for your villa holiday, here’s some useful information so you know what to expect from our car hire suppliers. Exact information on where to collect your car will be provided to you with your travel documents 7 – 10 days before you depart.
During the Covid-19 pandemic
All of the car hire companies we work with are vigilantly implementing enhanced cleaning protocols to ensure your safety. To find out exactly what preventative measures and practices have been put in place, please refer directly to the website of your hire car provider.
Picking up your hire car
Many of the car hire suppliers across our destinations offer airport pick up, so collecting your car after you land is quick and easy.
You’ll need to make sure that the lead passenger has a credit card with them on collection. Unfortunately, debit cards aren’t accepted so this is really important.
There’s no limit to how many miles you can drive with your hire car. So you can take the scenic route or as many day trips as you’d like with no extra cost.
Fair fuel policy
All of our car hire suppliers have a fair fuel policy which means all you need to do is return the car with the same amount of fuel as when you picked it up.
You can pre-book your children's seats ahead of time so you're confident the kids can travel in comfort and safety. Rates and charges will vary depending on destination, and all fees are payable locally. Booster seats are available too and you can organise this in resort if you need to.
The number of additional drivers you can add to your policy varies depending on which destination you visit. You will be advised at the time of booking by our Travel Experts. If you require additional drivers, the names can be added and insurance charged as an extra cost upon arrival at your destination. All drivers will need to produce a driving licence.
Are transfers provided?
If you're wondering how to get from the airport to your villa, a transfer might be the best option for you. Transfers aren't included in our holiday price but in many destinations, we can provide this service at an extra cost. It's always best to book in advance to avoid lengthy waits at the airport. For some villas, especially our 'car essential' villas, you may want to look into hiring a car so you can get out and about and explore your chosen holiday destination or just to get to and from the local supermarket with ease. What should I expect if I have a ferry transfer?
Boat, ferry and hydrofoil crossings may require a face covering to protect you, the crew and other passengers during your journey. In some instances you may need to submit to a temperature check and/or complete a health declaration. Routes are running at a reduced capacity to help with social distancing, so allow yourself plenty of time to board the boat.
What should I expect if I've booked a local transfer?
Transfer drivers will be adhering to local requirements and guidelines to ensure the safety of their passengers. It is important to remember you will need to look after your own luggage, as the driver will not be able to handle your luggage or assist you in carrying it.
